@dan_abramov idk why people say this. commonjs modules can be easily statically analysed too if that's your goal.

@sebmck The syntax doesn't enforce it so it doesn't work in practice for many modules.

@dan_abramov dynamic exports assignment isn't that common and if you want static analysis then you'll just use them statically

@dan_abramov i mean it's useful that es2015 modules don't allow it but using them just for that is kinda unnecessary

@sebmck ES6-first bundles (Rollup, Webpack 2) offer tree shaking because they can rely on modules never being dynamic.
