@sebmck @rreverser @marijnjh it should be an OPTION to build on top of babel, not req b/c babel is popular and chose non-interop.

@sebmck @rreverser @marijnjh i would prefer tools, esp the big popular ones, to prioritize interop (even if that makes things "harder")

@sebmck @rreverser @marijnjh but of course you wouldn't have to care about interop b/c you're the biggest popularity tool. let others change
