@rwaldron People saying things like "Function bind is now in ES7" is dangerous. A lot of people are going to be surprised/disappointed.

@sebmck @rwaldron Seeing overreaction to JSHint not supporting stage 0 on other issue trackers. Stage 2 bar seems *completely* reasonable.

@addyosmani Babel only has stage >=2 enabled by default too. Anything else is opt-in and you will get a subpar experience. @rwaldron

@sebmck That seems like the right call for DX. I love the bleeding-edge and all but have low expectations for stage 0 tooling. @rwaldron

@addyosmani IMO Babel has done too good a job supporting stage ~0 proposals. A lot of people are adopting it for production… @rwaldron

@sebmck @addyosmani @rwaldron have stage0 transpilations insert `console.log(..)` statements warning the dev not to deploy to production

@getify @addyosmani @rwaldron That punishes users who use them responsibly but it's likely worth it.
