      @getify Works, because equivalent to: function foo() { return bar(); } BUT: rules in spec are simpler—no indirection allowed (AFAICT).

      @rauschma it's a perf optimization. isn't question not "does spec allow", but "does spec disallow" an engine from TCO'ing a certain case?
