do i know anyone with detailed knowledge about the spec for SourceMaps? unless i misunderstand, both uglify & babel are non-conforming.

@sebmck nope, also does it with "both"… at least here on my machine that i'm running right now.
@getify Ah yeah, "both" inlines it and returns the source map in the return object. Set it to true if you don't want the inlined comment.

@sebmck can't imagine any use-case for "both" that actually duplicates map data. assumed "both" returned map data and added URL comment -
