do i know anyone with detailed knowledge about the spec for SourceMaps? unless i misunderstand, both uglify & babel are non-conforming.

@sebmck also, babel doesn't appear to have an option to set the sourceMappingURL comment value, and it auto-decides to data-URI it.
@getify You can either set it to inline the entire source map or to just return it in the resulting result object under the `map` property.

@sebmck i'm talking about the //# sourceMappingURL=.. comment that's appended to the transpiled file. seems to always be a data-URI. -
