      @mattfysh No, definently not. FAQ even says that you can support IE8 by limiting yourself to a subset or enabling various options. @reactjs

      @sebmck @reactjs one of those options is loose mode for es6.modules - not in react source? what other babel options planned for react+IE8?

      @mattfysh @reactjs doesn't use ES6 modules so it's not at all relevant. Nothing that React uses is related to any of those caveats.
