@RReverser yeah, it would allow very nice @babeljs and sweet.js interop

@codemixers @babeljs AFAIR sweet.js uses esprima which has different token format, so you will need to build own interop layer anyway.

@sebmck @RReverser nice, I think this is really the only limiting factor preventing macros in babel now

@codemixers @rreverser I don't understand why people want macros in the first place. Only reason I haven't really looked into it.

@sebmck @RReverser macros are insanely useful if used judiciously. consider things like debug builds with additional logging etc
