@backspaces @sebmck @eventualbuddha @babeljs No: Babel compiles ES6 -> ES5 (powerful to less so), you want CS -> ES6 (similarly powerful).

@rauschma @sebmck @eventualbuddha @babeljs The new Babel is more generally a transpiler tool, I think, thus may have usable tech for this.

@backspaces @sebmck @eventualbuddha @babeljs AFAIK, Babel’s tied to ES6 syntax. Recast may help, but JS syntax only https://github.com/benjamn/recast 

@rauschma @sebmck @eventualbuddha @babeljs @jspedant Recast looks interesting. Does CS or Redux generate Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs)?
