GitHub needs a "merge once checks have passed" option that you can select on specific PRs

It’s cool that there’s bots and stuff that do this but it really shouldn’t be necessary

gitlab does this and it is probably my favorite feature now that I work somewhere that went GL over GH

GitHub Actions? Listen to CheckRunEvent and merge if checkrun.conclusion is successful, it can probably cleanup and delete the branch toohttps://developer.github.com/v3/activity/events/types/#checkrunevent …

I've been using Kodiak bot for this and it works great but it really should be a feature native to @github. It's such a fundamental part of code review. We got auto-delete branch on merge so maybe we'll auto-merge on passing checks soon. cc @natfriedman 😊

This exists in Azure DevOps so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s on the roadmap for GH too
