      I'm tripped up at least once a year when I change the case of a file in git (i.e. lowercase 'myfile.js' to 'Myfile.js') and my CI system fails.

      Sounds like a tooling limitation. Rome enforces case sensitivity even on insensitive file systems, and has hints when resolution fails due to case differences.
