welp gone and fixed it :) Thanks all for tuning it! TIL new uint8Array is SUPER expensive. The advice outlined in https://2ality.com/2015/10/concatenating-typed-arrays.html … should not be used if you plan on it being a function that is called frequently!

I don’t see an alternative – if you have to concatenate. But I can warn about this operation being expensive.
