      As a member myself, I’ll be the first to admit that the church hasn’t done a good job figuring out how gay relationships fit into its theology. If you learn about the fundamental doctrines, it’s easier to understand the difficulty many members (not all) have.

      Some individuals maybe awful, but the church does not teach that. They teach no sexual activity out of marriage ( man and woman), for gay or straight. That's it. For Everyone who lives that law has all privileges that God has to offer.

      That feels like a deliberate omission of details. The church teaches that same sex relationships are bad and that while you can have sexual attraction, any sexual relations are sinful. It's pretty literal.
