Also you don't know Sebastian life and neither do I, he may have debts and not get a mortgage that you clearly were able to get "You are rich u dont get to say this" is a terrible take to someone you know nothing about but his position, you are a senior engineer too!

You know, y’all are right that was not right of me, and was mean. So I apologize
@sebmck TBH, I’ve been arguing all day about these blanket statements being made by people all day long about how all landlords are just super greedy, when it’s not true1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -
Some of us, like my family got into the business specifically to help immigrants like ourselves, especially undocumented immigrants who can’t get an apartment without credit. We still work on handshake deals too, which we get screwed over a lot for

So saying “y’all greedy. Y’all privileged” is a far cry from the Barr minimum we make on our properties (3) in total. What’s killing me are these blanket statements. I know a few ppl that makes their living off renting. Minimum wage is their profit. If it fails, they’re homeless

Depends on how you acquired them. And the things we had to go through to get them (black and immigrant) was hell. Literally re-applying under different names, and more. Blanket statements like this are hurtful

Replying to @ThugDebugger @sebmck and
“Are you sure your people could afford rent over here” “Are you sure you can afford the mortgage” “What brings you to THIS side of town” It’s not a privilege to be put through the gauntlet for a basic home loan And at the time (06) they were handing them out like candy
