my inbox is filled with `${company}'s response to COVID-19` emails and it's... bizarre. The only time I've seen this much inbound email about a single subject was GDPR.

The one I got told customers to use the website/app rather than coming into a branch and tells people to enroll now in online access if they’ve not already. It goes on to say that people may be experiencing financial difficulty + to reach out and they’ll see how they can help.

The pessimist in me who worked in DevRel under a marketing org previously is parsing this as a way to bump enrollment in their online access program which I can guarantee you is an OKR of the team that runs the email automation.
