That is a Dedender. They stopped making them like this iirc. Wrangler still an option.
2020 Defender has a distinctive style and has a more brutalist design than other cars. I guess I don't understand your critique other than "I want a car that looks exactly like this one".

It’s definitely better than it could have ended up. Earliest concept versions of it were ridiculous. But the point is that these forms are the exception these days. And most of the options are incredibly expensive or impractical.
