Is it unreasonable for open source projects to expect Windows contributors to have bash installed?

If you have Git for Windows you have bash and a halfway decent terminal. My Windows 10 partition has *too many* "Unix command line terminals", not zero. And you still should learn PowerShell. No excuses! Just learn it!

Powershell runs on macOS and Linux too! If all you want to do is run some stuff, your Powershell script will be super super similar to Bash

You can run a VM. It's free. You have to download a new copy of the VM every few months so I wouldn't use it as a daily driver, but it should suffice for a bit of Windows testing. https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/virtual-machines/ …
