      This is a collection of my tweets over the past ~2 years about a project I've been working on. Time and work fluctuated over that period. It was called Sonic, then Hydra. Now it's called Rome. It's a JavaScript toolchain. It has zero dependencies, every thing is custom.

          It’s really impressive, but all I can think is: why go through all this trouble? Why not build a couple of custom tools and provide (opinionated) config files for everything else?

          Ok, like I said, your work on Rome is really impressive (and reading through the thread, I can see why you’re rolling your own tools) and I think it could be the next big thing in JS 😄
