Did I find a TS bug??? How is it that hovering over "rules" says this first type. Yet hovering over the actual variable, it shows a different type! Second one has an extra field that shouldn't be allowed.pic.twitter.com/yGpAxzsmZd
First screenshot is the type signature that the attribute allows. Second is the actual type you’re passing. TS objects aren’t exact so an object with additional fields doesn’t matter.

Do you know of any way to disallow extra fields? I want an object with only the fields i specify

It’s also really weird to me, I noticed I can pass “email: []” and no error. Even though the type is “RuleFn[]”. Is there no way to require at least one function to be in the array?
