Amazon except it shows stock of physical stores. Opening up specific store apps is a pain and I prefer to buy stuff in person than online, especially if the discoverability was the same. Am I alone?

I love the Target app for this. It shows stock levels for all items and even has a map of the shelf location. I want something to aggregate all the stores though since Target doesn’t sell everything. Home Depot, Best Buy, Walmart, Safeway, Whole Foods.

Nice app idea from the consumer perspective, but it takes a business to maintain. What business model would sustain such an app?

apple stores, restaurants, musical instruments have similar models, no? it doesn't have to be *all* buy on app + then pickup business, I'm guessing
