1. Facebook spreading news on Twitter 2. FACEBOOK 3. Published via http://WordPress.com 4. TLD is fb<dot>com 5. Facebook Newsroom branding not updated? 6. Twitter handle is inverse of domain 7. Published at a non-peak time 8. Unnecessary white space between text and link
Some interesting tidbits 3. There’s a lot of FB branding/marketing and press sites that use WordPress and random tech that are built by vendors 4. fb<dot>com is also the domain we use for employee emails and some other stuff
Honestly not surprised that y’all use fb<dot>com for things - I cannot imagine the mess it would be to use facebook<dot>com for both the network and other random things some team needs to do or that is cross-org like email. Microsoft<dot>com does it and I do not envy that work.
You actually used to be able to use Facebook as an email provider, likely the biggest reason for not being able to use it. Any emails sent to <username>@facebook<dot>com would appear in your inbox and you could reply to them. No idea how long that was a thing.
