I am ashamed of the ad policy decisions that Facebook has made lately, notably allowing misleading and false political ads. All previous scandals could be attributed to incompetence rather than malice, but nothing has been so egregiously asserted.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that those who are most vulnerable and precarious should accept the assumptions made about them based on the actions of their employers. I urge you to reflect on this and reconsider.

Now you know how some border patrol agents feel. Many individuals within that organization do important work to fight evils like human trafficking and yet they might receive criticism over the actions of their employer for things they have nothing to do with. Nuance is underrated

I can only see detriment to one's mental health to assume responsibility for the way others perceive you. A reasonable person would concluded that your work at Facebook has nothing to do with those issues. You know where you stand. Silence is not an endorsement.
