After few months using Android on a Galaxy S10, I feel like I'm in a pretty good position to compare it with iOS. I have not used an Android phone other than an S10 so my experience is limited.

Another significant downside has been autocorrect. Maybe I got used to specific iOS autocorrect quirks, or maybe it got used to me. But I make so many more mistakes when typing on my S10.

It's not a work device, right? Android keeps telling me that management software is keeping my device awake 24/7.

It is. We use MobileIron which sometimes can drain a lot of battery. But I can usually tell when my phone is really hot... Checking the battery stats though and it isn't nearly the main cause. Play Services dominate it.

I only buy Pixels now because I don't trust any of the other manufactures not to screw everything up, or to provide security updates past 6 months. I didn't know Samsung had their own app store, wtf

Oh, and I'm also about 70% sure that Spotify drains a ton of battery. I noticed battery issues that only started after I started using it. My guess is that the way it syncs "now playing" across devices is really expensive.
