Very grateful for Facebook sponsoring and paying for the whole immigration process. A lot of people have to wait a lot longer depending on category, and if you're from a country with a cap ,then you're waiting up to 10 years. Very privileged to be in this position.pic.twitter.com/wA31YPXapl

I don't know if citizenship status counts but my dad to wait 11 years to get his and currently my sisters husband (from Mexico) is trying to get his green card and they're going on 3 years now.

Dependent green cards are much different and have much longer processing times because there are so many. The US is pretty unique on that they let you sponsor a relative at all.
