Probably. I strongly recall complaining about this before. TypeScript seems very averse to breaking backwards compatibility though which is unfortunate.
that’s funny because i thought the freedom to break was the whole point of not adopting semver! thanks for drawing attn to this tho, i have never run into this but would throw me for a loop when i eventually do
