Anyone been through the Facebook frontend interview recently?

It's been a long time since I went through it, but I remember it included a lot of PHP and SQL.
Our frontend interview doesn't cover either or those. It is quite JavaScript heavy with a bit of HTML and CSS.

I assume it's much better now. I went through it in 2012 and it was so far off-topic from front-end that I was fairly convinced I got put into the wrong interview.

Not at all. There are questions about tree traversal but it's directly related to the DOM. The questions have been extracted from actual work scenarios.
