Even if it did, safety concerns would certainly exist. You have to be careful with that stuff, and there's a reason raw meat consumption is heavily monitored and regulated.
Nothing about the show seemed unsafe to me. They did a lot of camera tricks to make the stunts seem more unsafe than they actually were. I also recall hearing them mention receiving vaccines and shots before and after anything food related.

Fair, and that definitely counts as addressing safety concerns. I do also recall them having medical people on standby on a lot of the more risky ones.
