Marathoning Fear Factor has given me an interesting look into the toxic personality and social traits of the early 2000s

I just remember that show being gross af. Like, one or two cool, scary stunts, then "ok now eat a pig's small intestine raw"
-
The gross challenge is always the middle one. I think they're mostly fine. The only part I object to is when it's eating live animals. Would never happen today.

Yeah, the show was dumb in its entirety. Not interesting at all and zero substance to it. Not ever found it truly interesting. Also, the invasiveness is something I questioned even when I was a little 5 year old kid (when it initially aired). Didn't look right at all.

And that's despite understanding even that young that there was some level of consent to doing the grotesque stuff. It was the everything else I questioned, stuff that clearly made them otherwise unnecessarily uncomfortable and judging them in inappropriate ways.
