When Lerna changed their license to forbid usage from ICE collaborators a lot of people got angry because it was no longer free software" and was "mixing politics and sofrware". Big fuck you to those people. Would love to see a more formalized version of that license.

I am just surprised ICE got singled out, it seems like there are many more evil entities in the world. Like the North Korean gulag can use this software but ICE can’t?

North Korea aren't buying software from companies, and wouldn't care to violate software licenses. Meanwhile ICE is an entity that needs to comply with licensing, and is actively working with dozens of SV companies.
