When Lerna changed their license to forbid usage from ICE collaborators a lot of people got angry because it was no longer free software" and was "mixing politics and sofrware". Big fuck you to those people. Would love to see a more formalized version of that license.
I don't work on Lerna anymore and I specifically deferred all project decisions to the existing maintainers. I was not involved in the decision to switch the Lerna license at the time other than forgoing any legal responsibility.
