      Not sure how far along npm is I cause haven’t used it in awhile. But things I love about yarn: ability to freeze lockfile on install, interactive upgrade, speed

      NPM now has a lockfile, which I agree is a big plus. I think the speed has gotten better too, but that's subjective. Lately I've been hearing slightly shadd things about their business practices, but Yarn is FB, so I can't imagine they're any more admirable.

      Yarn is not Facebook. In fact, no member of the core development team is part of FB at the moment.

      Just to clarify, no current maintainers of Yarn work at FB. Many previous core maintainers, and existing owners, still work at Facebook.
