I am not proud to live in the US. Just as I have not been proud to live in Australia or the UK. When you say you are a patriot, or proud of a certain country, you are associated with both the negative (and sometimes positives) effects of that country.
Was there something about my tweets that lead you to believe that I'm not doing something about it? I specifically didn't say that the US was an outlier.

You seemed to imply in your first tweet that I don't have a vested interest in this country. I do. I live here with my wife. We're getting a green card. We're having a baby in this country. I care a lot about it. Maybe one day I will be proud, but not right now.
