Seriously cannot believe that people still have the expectation that you only tweet about tech. Not sure if some people lost the memo but this is a *microblogging* website. Blogging as in, I can post whatever the fuck I want.

You mentioned the micro-blogging, I think same applies to the blogs. There needs to be some sort of focus on content. If I subscribe (aka follow in Twitter) to a blog, I expect majority of the posts to be on the topics that the author initially said that the blog is about
If a blog is abstracted from a person, then sure. If this is a personal blog, and without specifying the actual theme, it seems reasonable to assume it will be about whatever that person wants. You must be thinking of a different sort of blog. Consider this a LIveJournal blog.

Sure, I think it is a matter of perspective and LiveJournal blog sounds like a good analogy.

If I’m interested in someone from a single post, I go to their timeline/history to see if they tweet other interesting things that makes me want to follow them. I don’t find tag lines/bio descriptive enough to make a decision from.
