As “offensiveness” is determined by whether anyone takes offense, it is impossible to say without asking literally everyone. But we can imagine a “reasonable person” in everyone’s stead. Perhaps this exercise illustrates the absurdity of the offense-taking olympics. 1/n

Honest questions: are there reasonable claims of comments or behavior that materially disenfranchise marginalized groups (to take a common criterion for “problematic”)? Furthermore, is said behavior intentional, and if so, is it reasonable to limit in a free society?

How is my argument stupid? You're saying "the current events in motion" are entirely from the white supremacy accusations. They are not. It was the instigator but there is a wider sentiment regarding numerous of Ken's past and present behaviour.

Are you disagreeing that there's other things involved? Do you seriously want me to link tweets from others, who may not necessarily want the attention?

I have a vested interest in the React community. I have been involved in many scenarios I mentioned. I have also spoken to many others first-hand. I have been in the React Org for 4 years and am in a position where these issues are discussed a lot.

Where in this thread have I accused Ken of being anything? I understand you are his friend and want to defend him, but your assumptions of my intent is fucked.
