Honestly it's so nice of my employer to have a three month notice period because it's about the right amounth of time I need to cope with the fact that I need to give them back this pixel 3 and go back to my iphone

Maybe? For me in London, FB and Cloudflare both had 30 day notice (which are flexible). Although both are American.
