      Why does a project backed by a billion(s) dollar company have a sponsor button? The primary sponsor (FB Open Source) more than covers all expenses. The other backers kinda seem unnecessary. 🤷pic.twitter.com/WX5tuW3MJj

      With FB Open Source more than covering expenses the GH button kinda seems ++. Is there a way for FB Open Source to just take care of this without involving non-FB company/individual backings?

      What’s the process to get this setup? Meaning, React Native is way bigger and AFAIK it doesn’t have any sort of sustain like Jest.

      No idea. There being several large businesses around React Native changes the dynamics a bit. A lot of paid consulting etc. Seems like something that should be non-FB driven. (my opinions)

          I think I understand where Raf wants to go with this, I think it’s related to basically ownership/gatekeeping. But yeah let’s go back to this in a couple weeks.
