Why does a project backed by a billion(s) dollar company have a sponsor button? The primary sponsor (FB Open Source) more than covers all expenses. The other backers kinda seem unnecessary.

What’s the process to get this setup? Meaning, React Native is way bigger and AFAIK it doesn’t have any sort of sustain like Jest.
No idea. There being several large businesses around React Native changes the dynamics a bit. A lot of paid consulting etc. Seems like something that should be non-FB driven. (my opinions)
fwiw I raised my eyebrows the first time I saw this as well— most OCs are seemingly community or foundation-owned projects. so it seems unusual, but I think it makes sense
