In Rome, when using TS/Flow/JSX syntax in a file that doesn't support it, we will infer the syntax you might have meant, and provide hints on how to enable itpic.twitter.com/nMRgAGumoV

Instead of “Did you mean” what about “Want to use”? It sounds odd because “Did you mean” is usually used for spellchecking.

“Want to use” is odd because the user already made the decision to use JSX, Flow, or TS. “Did you mean” is common with spellchecking but doesn’t mean it isn’t a general purpose phrase to provide suggestions.

Last sentence made me sound like a dick. I’m open to wording suggestions but not sure “want to use” is any better.

I liked the “To enable TypeScript support, …” suggestions! To me, they sound clear and helpful.
