You’ll have to explain mocha though. I legit don’t understand this. Are there multiple pronunciations?

There's two that I know of. Both pronounce the "cha" the same. The first is "mow". The second is pronouncing "mo" the same as in "moth" or American "mom". I do not understand the justification for mow. It's an American pronunciation bastardisation from the original Italian word.

i pretty much only say “care-a-mel” (and only rarely hear car-mel) and “moe-ka” (and so far only hear britishy-types say the shorter “muh-ka”)
