Dead serious TypeScript question: do any of you actually work in `strict` mode? It seems surprisingly "strict" (ya ya fuck off). But, like, unnecessarily strict—beyond the point of usefulness, and into just typing things to type them.

If I'm understanding correctly, strict mode will error out on every implicit any, as well. Which seems terrible to me; I definitely want to reserve the right to not manually add typings to method signatures that don't need it right this minute.

Yeah. True. I'm lazy but I guess that's a decent middle ground.
