People talking shit about this but it's actually amazing. You pair it to your phone and while you're brushing it will tell you the areas of your mouth that you missed using positional tracking. It's even so finegrained that it knows the back vs the front.
A gimmick? Maybe. Privileged to be able to afford an expensive Bluetooth toothbrush? Definitely. Beneficial in the long run for optimal oral health? Probably.
Does it use a secure protocol for the firmware update or could someone potentially hack it while you're at work?
No idea! Any BLE connection requires that it actually be on though, so any attacker will need to sit outside my bathroom window and wait.
Did it crash?
Nope. Large data transfers over BLE is pretty scary though.

I guess it means if your phone is offline it can communicate with the toothbrush but not really sure what needs to be improces there...
