You know that you can serve a different version of the JS file depending on the User Agent, right? function(){return x} uses 20 characters, _=>x uses 4, 5x times more efficient if you take advantage of user agent.
You don't copy or host this file yourself. You embed the direct link. You do not get to choose the format.

You can solve that easily changing your HTML to point another file transpiled, or using a web browser transpiler. But the real point is: only IE is not compatible with arrow functions. ¿Do you want to pay the extra effort that takes make everything compatible with IE?
