Besides the story, the show contains a lot of insides about what it means to think like a Russian, what it means to be a hero in a Russian way, and what the practical and historical reasons are behind all that stuff that looks so unreasonable and stupid to western mind.
Watched the first episode and it has a really interesting perspective. I'm weirded out by all the actors speaking English and having British accents though.
