All the demos in the livestream announcement were with npm, it seems apparent where their main focus was

They showed Docker too. Mainly because usage is quick and easy with those two tools (vs something like Maven or NuGet).

My reading suggests they currently support gems maven and nuget in addition to javascript and docker w/ more to come
