I think it’s fair to acknowledge Twitter did a lot to show a step like this is feasible on the web — but also without discounting the unique work people did on this project. When it ships I think it’ll be clear it’s pretty different from Twitter tho.
The comparison to a PWA and technology is fine. The design comparison isn’t, which is what the original tweet was referring to.
