When you're using a testing framework, do you prefer your test declarations to be global variables like Mocha or Jest? Or to have explicit imports like Ava? import test from 'ava'; test('title', () => {}); vs. // global.test test('title', () => {});

Mocha is only lacking a built-in assertion library which I'd say is an important part of the framework side, but other than that they all run the tests and give you a mechanism for writing them in an organized way with nice error messages
