Real talk though.... that code is really hard to write. Not a reason not to do it, just takes time and thought.

I think the problem is with the messages, not the validation itself. Rather than an obscure ‘The address was invalid’, it’s suggested that you add additional details about what format is expected. This way, the user won’t have to guess.

Same for any rest APIs that return 400s for bad input. Please please tell me what I did wrong. "Incorrect Parameters" is helpful to exactly 0 people.
