1 out of 6 paragraphs was actually about the people fired. The rest is about VC and growth. Feels like a major deflection and disappointing since it's so late. "We deeply regret" is a bad apology, lacks empathy.

Just realized this isn't actually an apology about anything. More of a statement on the speculation that npm inc is VC driven now. I don't see anything in this post that contradicts that.
