I wonder why they didn’t keep the option, just not as default? I guess every option is burden

We removed like 5 things, basically the stuff that people complained about. See <https://secure.phabricator.com/T10000 > for more discussion.

"phabricator.serious-business" is still an option and the "Forgot Password" flow still suggests you to pick a short password like "cat" and write it down on a sticky note on your monitor to help you remember.
