I hate this about fb. Makes it feel frantic.
I’m under pressure to get to E5 since it’s been so long. Fortunately it’s a lot easier after and there’s not a strong deadline for further advance.
Yeah it's a lot more work to get "meets all" at E6 vs E5 so a lot of people just stay at E5 forever. Totally fine to do that.
Level doesn't really mean too much though. A good thing about levels being private at FB is that E6+s don't really look down on E3/E4 - have seen that elsewhere, where junior devs are scared to suggest ideas or give feedback to senior devs because of the level difference.
